I started taking this after a recommendation from my hematologist. I am iron deficient and have had to have IV iron infusions. This iron is easily absorbed and doesn’t upset my stomach like other types of iron. My levels are now normal and I no longer require Iv iron. I feel great!
So far so good. My dad could never absorb oral iron but seems to be doing well with these supplements
Fast shipping. The pills are a bit larger than I’d like as someone with EDS, but they actually went down just fine, easier than capsules
Great product. I work this into my daily supplement routine. Do note this is not to treat iron deficiency anemia as proferrin has 10.5 mg elemental iron where iron sulfate has around 60 mg. This is great for preventing it once you have a stable iron level.

Very happy with Colorado Biolabs – I really needed this excellent, high quality type of Iron for my wife. She has low Ferritin and this is the ideal supplement to keep her ferritin up, after she had her iron infusions. I advise all women to be sure their iron intake is good because low iron (ferritin) can cause later issues with. your thyroid and you definitely don’t want that. This particular supplement was recommended by ChapGpt because it’s easily and quickly absorbed, won’t cause gastrointestinal issues and is HEM sourced which is what we wanted. I trust this manufacturer and am happy to have this particular supplement. Thank you Proferrin.
